Pine Essential Oil, extracted from the leaves of Pinus sylvestris, is well-known for its powerful therapeutic and cosmetic properties. This essential oil is highly effective in preserving the integrity of the skin and hair against oxidative processes. It also helps to improve overall circulation, making it ideal for use in massages and respiratory treatments.

Pine Essential Oil has been used since ancient times, particularly in Nordic climates, where its balsamic benefits were used to treat the bronchi. This tree grows in mountainous regions on sandy or gravel soils and is easily recognizable by its purplish-gray bark, rigid needle-like leaves, yellow male flowers, red female flowers, and a green ovoid cone that turns brown when mature.

The fresh, revitalizing aroma of Pine Essential Oil helps improve breathing, disinfect the airways, and purify the air in smoking environments. It also has a wide range of cosmetic applications and is a potent antiseptic. It is used in foot baths, sitz baths, and for treating respiratory disorders, either alone or mixed with beeswax or jojoba oil for chest friction. In massages, it has a calming and analgesic effect, improving circulation and relieving tension.

Benefits and Effectiveness

  • Cosmetically: Pine Essential Oil is deodorizing, skin-protecting, and toning, protecting the skin from external aggressions and helping maintain its vitality.

  • Therapeutically: This oil has antimicrobial, anti-neuralgic, anti-rheumatic, antiviral, diuretic, expectorant, hypertensive, insecticidal, rubefacient, and stimulating properties. It is especially useful in treating respiratory and circulatory conditions.

  • Emotionally: Pine Essential Oil stimulates the adrenal cortex, circulation, and the Central Nervous System (CNS), providing a revitalizing and energizing effect, ideal for combating tiredness and fatigue.

This essential oil is perfect for formulating body oils intended to treat respiratory conditions due to its balsamic properties. It can be effectively combined with mint, eucalyptus, thyme, and petit-grain to create powerful therapeutic blends.

HOW TO USE

Diffuser
A very common use of Essential Oils for its ease and versatility. Put between 5-12 drops in the diffuser, depending on the square meters of the room.

Inhalation
Place 1-3 drops on a handkerchief and inhale for a few minutes.

Body use
We recommend mixing a carrier Vegetable Oil, such as Almond Oil, in a proportion of 97% with a synergy of pure Essential Oils in a proportion of 3%, and apply on the skin with a gentle massage

Spray air freshener
Provides a unique aromatic sensation in your home by creating a natural fragrance based on essential oils. Apply 25 drops per 250ml of water.

Facial Massage
We can enhance the effect of a facial massage by using a carrier Vegetable Oil (99%) with 1% Essential Oil. This is equivalent to approximately 20 drops of Essential Oil per 100ml of Vegetable Oil.

In the bathtub
By applying 10 to 15 drops of the Essential Oil of your choice, we can achieve a particularly relaxing and penetrating experience of its properties. It is recommended to previously dilute the Essential Oil with a small amount of vegetable milk, because as they have a fatty phase, it helps not to form drops or accumulations of essential oils in the water that can irritate the skin.

Precautions:
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and keeping the container tightly closed with the original cap.
